Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have now been described as high risk “targets” for stalkers and terrorists as they continue to live life away from the royal spotlight. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit royal life in 2020 and moved to Montecito, California, where they have set up home with their children Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.

While the couple seem happy in America, Harry flew back to the UK just months ago for a court case to appeal a decision made by the Home Office to downgrade his taxpayer-funded security rights in the UK. This decision was made after Harry, 40, and Meghan, 43, had already declared their move overseas.

After losing his appeal, Harry said that the case had “uncovered my (his) worst fears”, and that he has no ambition to bring his wife or children to the UK out of concern for their safety.

While many may believe it doesn’t have to be this way, The Scottish Daily Express reported that Harry and Meghan, along with their children, are actually at risk of being targeted.

A security insider told Radar Online: “Harry, his wife and their kids have their names all over the dark web and encrypted channels used by terrorists to communicate.

“They are a high value kidnap and torture commodity for jihadists to use against Britain and the West, and there are also complete obsessives who are talking constantly about stalking the pair and their children. The threat level against them is now on red.”

Harry has not been seen on UK soil since April, when he arrived in London for the court hearings.

He flew to his home country alone, with Meghan staying in Montecito with the couple’s two children.

The Duchess of Sussex herself hasn’t visited the UK since 2022 when she attended the late Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet have also not been in the UK since 2022, with no plans for them to return anytime in the near future.

Th Daily Express has approached Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s representatives for comment.
