Prince Harry denies he ‘got into fight with uncle Prince Andrew and left him with bloody nose’

A new royal biography has made explosive allegations

Prince Harry is forcefully denying explosive allegations that he had a physical fight with his uncle, Prince Andrew, during a heated family altercation.

In response to bombshell claims made in Andrew Lownie’s new royal biography, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, the Duke of Sussex has issued a rare and strongly worded public rebuttal.

Prince Harry denies having a physical fight with Prince Andrew

The book was written by royal author Andrew Lownie and serialised in the Daily Mail.

It alleges that Harry and Andrew got into a “heated argument” in 2013 that resulted in punches being thrown “over something Andrew said behind Harry’s back”.

The book claims that a source alleged that Harry told him he was a “coward” and “got the better” of his uncle after the Duke of York was left with a “bloody nose before the fight was broken up”.

I can confirm Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight.

The biography also claims Andrew later told Harry that his marriage to Meghan Markle wouldn’t last “more than a month”. He reportedly accused Harry of not doing “due diligence” into her background.

But Prince Harry’s team has denied all of it.

“I can confirm Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight,” a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said, as reported by PEOPLE. “Nor did Prince Andrew ever make the comments he is alleged to have made about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”

Harry’s legal team has also reportedly taken action. A source close to the duke confirmed to PEOPLE that a legal letter has been sent to the Mail over what they called “gross inaccuracies, damaging and defamatory remarks”.

New Prince Andrew biography

The biography paints Prince Andrew as a controversial figure, citing his alleged past behaviour toward women and household staff. The book alleges that Andrew once called a staff member an “imbecile” over a mix-up with Queen Elizabeth II and his grandmother, The Queen Mother, and could be “unbelievably cruel”.

The book also touches on his notorious ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. This alleged relationship led to Andrew stepping back from royal duties and public life in 2019.

Beyond the sensational physical altercation claim, Entitled alleges ongoing tensions between Andrew and his royal nephews.

It claims Prince William has worked behind the scenes to push Andrew out of Royal Lodge, a 30-room property in Windsor Great Park. The Prince of Wales also reportedly harbours strong feelings about his uncle and former aunt, Sarah Ferguson.

Royal Insider has contacted reps for Buckingham Palace for comment.

Prince Harry wants reconciliation with royal family

This latest royal tell-all comes amid years of turbulence for the royal family, especially following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2020 decision to step back from royal duties and relocate to California.

Harry and Meghan now live in Montecito with their children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.

While the couple continues their philanthropic and media ventures, Harry has been vocal about wanting peace within his family.

“I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore,” he said in an emotional interview with the BBC in May.

However, reconciliation has not come as easily as he may have hoped.

Prince Harry has reportedly offered to share his schedule with Buckingham Palace to avoid royal clashes and ease tensions with King Charles, according to the Daily Mail.

However, King Charles apparently remains cautious about trusting his son.
