Meghan Markle leaves people confused after awkward error spotted in Princess Lilibet video

Meghan Markle has confused fans after sharing a video of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, over the Easter weekend.

Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, were filmed enjoying their Easter in the gardens of their home in Montecito, California over the weekend.

While the couple tend to keep their family life very private – and do not show their children’s faces – they do occasionally share glimpses into their lives at home.

The wholesome clips showed the kids wearing bunny ears, collecting eggs and carrying bunny toys, but people were quick to hone in on one detail in particular in a video of Lilibet running around the garden.

Fans pointed out an unusual detail in the clip though, and it’s all to do with Lilibet’s outfit.

Sharing an ad of the dress people believe Lilibet was wearing, one person wrote: “And, is it me or does the girl child have the nightgown on backwards? The listing shows the buttons in the front.”

While another said: “The rabbit ears are on backwards as well.”

And a third added: “The bunny, ear headband is on backwards too.”

Now, anyone who has experience with young children will know that dressing kids isn’t always so straightforward. They can be pretty adamant about what they want to wear – and how they want to wear it.

It wasn’t long before trolls focused on another area of the video, with some even accusing Meghan of faking one of the videos she had shared in the carousel.

Posting on X, one wrote: “Anyone who owns chickens know when they lay eggs they NEVER come out this clean.”

As another insisted: “They are shiny like plastic.”

“I have a basket full of fake eggs which I use as decoration for Easter and they look exactly like these eggs,” noted one critic.

One eagle-eyed viewer added: “They look almost pearlized. Freshly laid eggs don’t look that way.”

Others were quick to argue: “Who is going to explain… those 2 white eggs are probably the chocolate eggs she hid for her two children to find on Easter Day?”

A person who owns chickens too stepped in: “I will have to disagree with you on this one. I have a small flock of silkies and other breeds and 90% of my eggs come out pristine and I don’t need to wash. Maybe it’s smaller flocks and less stress?”
